Clearing Land in Summit County Isn’t Simple

Summit County has burn restrictions that change by day and by season — open burning requires a permit from Summit County and is subject to fire stage closures. Timber removal near wetlands or streams requires coordination with the county and sometimes USACE. And the short growing season means you have a tight window to clear and reseed before winter sets in.

We’ve cleared lots from Breckenridge to Leadville. We know when to chip, when to haul, when to windrow, and when a Colorado permit is required before the first saw cuts. We don’t learn this on your job — we already know it.

Reclamation work — returning disturbed lots to a stable, revegetated condition after construction or mining disturbance — is something very few Summit County contractors offer. We do it, and we do it with native-appropriate seed mixes for Zone 4b conditions.
